China is one of the neighbours along the northern borders of Pakistan. Unlike other neighbours of Pakistan, China is probably the only one who has always supported Pakistan through thick and thin. On every hostile action taken by the arch rival, India, China has always supported Pakistan. One of the biggest proof of the friendship and goodwill towards Pakistan, is the huge investment in the CPEC project of Pakistan.

Details of CPEC:

Under this project, a road network starting from the Karakoram highway in KPK, to the Gwadar port in Balochistan will be built. An economic complex will be built in Gwadar, which is 12 months operational port for import and export purposes. A huge number of Chinese products will be exported using this port. In few years, the whole landscape of Gwadar port will be changed due to the high economic activity in the region.

Therefore, Gwadar will provide huge investment opportunities not only for Pakistanis, but various other multinational companies as well. A huge number of overseas Pakistanis have also shown great interest in the area.

Development of Gwadar port:

Due to the importance of this port, an international airport has already become operational. Apart from that, a complete infrastructure including roads, hospitals, schools and universities have also been provided under partnership with China.

A number of attractive resorts close to the beaches of Gwadar have also been established. One of those resorts is the Royal Resort Gwadar. This is a five star resort with all the five start facilities for the people that visit Gwadar due to their business trips or just to spend their leisure time. As stated earlier, Gwadar will be a home to large scale economic activity. That has also been taken under consideration during the construction of this resort. That is why it also has a number of fully equipped and spacious conference halls as well.
